How Does Photorejuvenation Treatment Work?
By using the Lumenis M22 IPL, a broad spectrum of light is transmitted with the IPL hand piece through a small, smooth, transparent light guide which is gently placed over your skin. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by the melanin in the pigmented spots. The light damages the sun and age spots, and then the body’s natural processes removes the injured tissue. There are some things to consider when choosing your treatment for sun damaged skin.
Treatment usually requires 1-4 sessions each spaced one month apart. Also by wearing sunscreen you greatly increase your skin’s protection and limit sun spots.
