How Stress Wreaks Havoc on your Body
We all deal with some level of stress each and every day. It’s how we manage that stress that affects many aspects of our physical appearance. When you are stressed—whether it’s about your job, money, relationships, or even your appearance—you wear it, and it shows.
Plain and simple, stressing is not sexy and your body serves as the punching bag to prove that harsh truth.
How Do We Cope With the Stress of Life
Think of how stress affects your everyday life. You lose sleep, overeat, indulge in one too many glasses of wine, skip out on the gym after that long day that never seemed to end, the list goes on and on.
“Giving in” is a universal coping mechanism that we use as that perfect excuse to succumb to everyday stress. With each crutch we lean on to help us get by, our body suffers as the consequence.
