You asked for it. Now it’s time to answer all your CoolSculpting questions.

With over 1500 CoolSculpting cycles performed, we’re Northern Nevada’s most experienced CoolSculpting team, and we’re here to answer some of the most common questions surrounding CoolSculpting.

If you’ve ever wondered how to get rid of that extra, unwanted fat, listen up.

What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that utilizes the science of Cryolipolysis to target and freeze away unwanted fat cells. CoolSculpting is an FDA-cleared alternative to traditional fat loss procedures like liposuction. There’s no surgical knives or needles involved. CoolSculpting is fast, safe, and requires zero downtime after treatment.

Subcutaneous fat, also known as “fluffy fat,” is cooled through the use of specialized applicators placed on the surface of the skin. Those fat cells are targeted and frozen, leaving the rest of the area unharmed.

Dead fat cells are then removed as waste over the following weeks through the body’s natural processes.

Am I a Good Candidate for CoolSculpting?

Our patients want to get rid of unsightly bulges and and excess fat that might be covering up the work they’re doing at the gym. When exercise and healthy eating still aren’t helping you achieve your weight loss goals, then CoolSculpting is the answer.

CoolSculpting can tighten up those areas that don’t always respond to exercise.

Of course, every CoolSculpting procedure is customized to your specific needs and goals, so the first step is coming in for a free consultation.

How Much Does it Cost?

The price of your CoolSculpting treatment will ultimately depend on what areas will be treated, and the number of sessions needed.

The typical cost of a treatment cycle can range from $500-900.

Is it Permanent?

Once the fat cells are frozen, they’re removed as waste from your body through natural processes. Once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. No need to worry about that unwanted fat returning.

What is the Treatment Like?

A typical session can last from 30-60 minutes.

The length of time depends on the number and size of the areas being treated. Some patients choose to treat multiple areas in a single session.

You’ll lounge in our CoolSculpting seat while the specialist prepares the area and applies the applicator. Many patients check their email, read, or even nap.

What Does it Feel Like?

In the first few minutes after the applicator is applied, the area will feel an intense cold. This feeling dissipates, and the treated area becomes numb over time. You might feel a slight pulling from the applicator as it suctions.

After treatment, the area will feel tingly for a few minutes, but after that, many patients are ready to get on with their day with no side effects.

When Will I Notice the Results?
